Hello! I'm new!

If I earn a BA in Journalism, can I apply for a MFA or MA in screenwriting when considering Grad school?

Is there something specifically to earn a BA in (English, Film, Theatre) that would be better if I want to be earn a MFA/MA in screenwriting?

I think journalism would be a fantastic undergraduate degree to prepare you for screenwriting. MFA programs don't expect applicants to have a undergrad degree in film or even English. They regularly accept students with backgrounds in the social sciences, hard sciences, or the arts. More than anything, they're looking for interesting people with interesting backgrounds who can tell stories. So whatever you choose to study, practice your writing, and worry about the MFA when you get to it.
