Check out the book "How to Get Into Any College" or something along those lines. It's got a lot of fantastic essays in it, and a lot of rules on how to tell the difference.

I'm not going to post mine, because this is all just a series of tubes, and you never know who's lurking in the internets just waiting to plagiarize my essay.

Take something that you did or some experience you had and draw some kind of life lesson from it. They love that kind of stuff.
