CalArts v. FSU

I'm facing a decision between the CalArts Film Directing Program and FSU MFA Production program. I like the artistic freedom of the CalArts curriculum, their location near LA, and quality faculty, plus they gave me a decent (not great) financial aid package. FSU on the other hand, provides top-notch technical instruction, have a history of award-winning filmmakers, and is cheap, cheap, cheap compared to CalArts. However, not everyone gets to make a thesis film at FSU. While I feel like the type of films I would like to make fall more in the mold of CalArts, I also think that it probably isn't a bad idea to learn the "Hollywood style" and industry production methods of FSU. I'm also concerned about which school will prepare me best for the film job market after graduation. Like Natalie Imbruglia, I'm torn. Any thoughts?
