Iam kind of freaking out because I want to study in your country (also mine, double nacionality) and everything is sooooo expensive! seriously!
At first time I was lloking the best for me, the BEST PLACE which i thought it was AFI, but what's my surprise?? 45.000 $ a year!!!!! then I found Chapman, also very expensive (not asmuch as AFI, OK), then UCLA, is a public univeristy and still is 25 grand a year....
I think Iam going crazy!! Does anyone any good program in the US of directing that is not that expensive?
for this ocasion, nothing better than...
Money, get away Get a good job with more pay and your O.K. Money it's a gas Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash New car, caviar, four star daydream, Think I'll buy me a football team

Do you think any student pays for school by themselves? Unless you have a wealthy and supporting family, school requires money. Now, schools know it if you don't have money. If you're smart, and you put effort into school, you can have the school pay for everything, or you can get loans, or, like most people, a little bit of all three.
Apply to schools. If you don't have the money, it won't matter to them. If you get into a school, there will be a way to find the money. If you're determined enough, money will not be a leading factor in choosing a school.
Don't wallow unproductively.

You are completely right. Paying for college expenses is already tough for Americans, but it doesn't even compare to how hard it is for international undergraduates.
However, you say you are considering AFI,so you are are going for the graduate course, right?
In that case, come one, man. It is one thousand times easier to pay for graduate studies than it is for undergraduate. In addition, you could also aplly for FAFSA, right? Since you are an American citizen.
It seems to me you are complaining for no reason, since you actually have some advantages on your side.
