I have a little bit of a question. I applied to NYU's summer film program and I'll find out if I got in or not May 10th. But I know it's a really selective program and I definitely want to do attend a film program this summer, so I've been looking at the NYFA ones. I want to apply now to NYFA so I can guarantee a spot if NYU doesn't accept me, but if I'm accepted to NYU's I'd have to drop out of NYFA and their fees are non-refundable. I'm afraid if I don't apply to NYFA now and I don't get into NYU's then I'm screwed for the summer. What should I do?

NYFA's pretty expensive. I wouldn't pay that ahead of time if you're not sure you're going there...

How likely do you think it is that you'll get into NYU's summer program? Do you meet most of the requirements?
