| Well, there's quite a few to choose from. The one I'm going to is Western. That is located in London, Ontario and offers a program called MTP. MTP is Media, Theory and Production and you get a college diploma and university degree. You do production work at Fanshawe College and all the theory at Western. Another option is Ryerson's film program, which from my recollection is mostly theory, but I may be wrong. It's a great program from what I hear. Sheridan College is also a great option, to explore more than just film. Its a Media Arts program that goes into graphic and web design, film, photography and other related fields. Good luck with your search! -Kegan | | | | Posts: 316 | Location: Toronto, ON | Registered: May 12, 2005 |

| If you're interested in coming to Vancouver (which is quite popular with the film industry ) I have a friend who just recently graduated the film program at Vancouver Film School and he said it was a pretty intense program and well worth the late nights and coffee diet. Talk about perfect timing... I went two days ago to talk to an advisor and there was a movie shooting with Mark Wahlberg in the same building as the campus I'll be in January for digital design. Plus, I'm getting a scholarship!!! Apparently they're celebrating an anniversary next year and giving away scholarships to financially starved people like me. Check it out. www.vfs.com/celebrationSorry for the babble but I'm just excited that things are finally falling into place for me. | | | | Posts: 1 | Location: Vancouver | Registered: August 25, 2006 |
