And I also am a combat videographer/photographer does anyone think that can help me get in to a school because i already have experience in some type of filming and I also edit all of my work with Avid Express DV HD and Adrenaline. But does anyone think my experience will help me at all??

First off... a combat videographer...cool. I was considering gettting into that kind of stuff but more from a journalistic approach.
Secondly, anything you've done should help your chaces of a successful admission. Im not sure what the process is like in the US though since im from Aus.

I have heard that Full Sail is a joke. I suggest you search the forums here for posts about it. I do remember seeing one some months ago. Why with your experience do you want to go to film school? You already have real world experience and from what you said you also have post production exp. Save your money and try to find yourself a job with some production company. I'm sure they would love to have someone with your skills.
