 | Hey there, I applied and got accepted myself to both csulb's production option and to sfsu's cinema major. I ended up going to CSULB because my family is in southern CA and I wanted to be there for them and vice-versa. I cannot say much for SFSU except that I hear there's a lot of experimental film making there. Not sure though. I live in the bay area right now, I love the weather over here and there's tons of young artist and very unique eccentric persons, locations, etc. I would move here again for these things. So now that you mentioned their grad program I will consider SFSU once more for that. As for CSULB, they don't start you off with a camera in your hand right away, and mostly all the film students are not quite as artistic or enthusiastic as I thought they would be. And the guys in the production option, well those students are very business oriented, I mean very. Kind of snotty I would say. That is the only flaw in that system that I see right now.
Best of luck to you!
