My first film is finished and I want to get it to studentfilms ASAP. I'm going the CD-ROM route when sending my film, but the site clearly states that the film must converted to quicktime media. Currently my film is saved as a windows media video/audio file. How do I convert it to Quicktime?!?!?!?!?!

Please help, Mark

You'll need to re-save it from your editing program. You should be able to export as quicktime. You might be able to just take your Windows Media file into Final Cut or Premiere to export from there, but I'm not sure if you can. I would guess there would be some quality loss if you did.

I mean, if he's dealing with Windows Media Files, my hunch is that Final Cut is not sitting on his desktop.

What program are you working with? Why not send a miniDV tape?
