HEART'S ATLANTIS (2006)

Maddogz Productions, a Gold Coast based production company, is pleased to announce that their latest short film, Heart's Atlantis, is currently mid-production. Due for release in December 2006, the film features a grieving boy, an underwater wonderworld, and -- a mysterious mermaid.

The main production team comprises of four students studying Film & Television at Bond University (Gold Coast, Australia). They are:


Writer/Director: Drew Macdonald (Tasmania)
Producer: Carson Maddocks (New South Wales)
Cinematographer: Codie Glann (Tasmania)
Production Designer: Nick Alvarez (Western Australia)


The film features a strong cast including Hannah Fraser as the Mermaid, Sam Wallis as Daniel, and Ty Hungerford (The Condemned) as Pete.

Also featuring an incredibly beautiful prosthetic Mermaid tail designed by industry-professional Jason Baird (of JMB FX Studio), Heart's Atlantis is a truly unique short film that has great market potential due to it's ability to have a crossover audience.
