While the people in Japan are suffering and dealing with difficulties that are beyond one's imagination, I have very limited things I can do to help them. But, I, and you, can start from knowing what has been happening and what the people have been going through.

So, I am making a slideshow of pictures taken in the areas severely damaged by the earthquake and tsunami and English-translated comments describing the background or current situation of what is in the images.

My goal is to let as many people across the world as possible see the images and hear the voice from stricken areas.

I am seeking someone who can compose, play and record a song to be played in the background of the slideshow video. It's probably going to be 6-7 minutes, but it can vary.

I cannot provide any compensation other than credit.

Please contact me if you are interested.

Thanks

Hi, just to say I admire what you are trying to do. It is a terrible shame that more can't be done in tragedies like these and important that as many people try to help in whatever way they can. I truly hope your project succeeds in its goal and inspires more people to reach out.

When you say 'song' do you literally mean a proper song, or are you open to instrumental music? I am a Music student and can aid in the latter if you wish. I don't really have any examples of the exact sort of thing I would write for this, the vaguest relation can be found in ideas from the music in the link below. Of course this sample is a rather different mood and was written quickly to illustrate part of a story, but if you desire some form of reference it is there.

Again, I wish you luck!
