Hi

My name is Michael. For the past few months I have producing and directing a short film called "A Splitting Image". The final run time will be around 15 minutes and everything has been completed except for three FX shots. The movie is a horror along the lines of Misery and The Shining. I need a score that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Though the budget is small, I am willing to pay for a score. I am in middle school but, apart from my age, filmmaking is my life. Here are some screen shots:

I want spooky, exciting music. What I am going for is something like this:

or

I can give more details if you are interested.

Much Appreciated, Mike

Hi,
My names Tom Bailey and I'm a graduate film composer from the UK. I would be happy to help score this film for free, examples of my work can be found on the link below. The track 'Hungary' may be a good example of a horror theme.
Hope to hear from you soon

Hi Michael,
Your screenshots look impressive and intriguing Smile
I am a UK composer with a BMus in composition, and would very much be interested in scoring your film for no charge, only the credit.

Please have a listen to some of my compositions here:
http://www.dominicirving.com/listen.htm
(I think perhaps 'Lacrimosa', 'The Soul of Wit', 'Empty Landscapes', 'Lamentations', 'A Bad Day at the Office' are representative of the mood you are after, but of course I will write precisely what you require.)

I also play violin, piano, bass recorder and theremin so could potentially mix some of those into the score on top of samples to create a really interesting texture.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Keep up the good film making!

- Dominic

My site is: www.soundclick.com/timeaszasz where you will find 30 of my compositions & more.

We could use each other's work for no charge, but credit.

Hello there. My name is Adam Brown and I am a final year student at De Montfort University, Leicester. I am a film composer - using a unique blend of orchestral and electronic sounds. My musical career started as a tuba player in the Royal Academy of Music, then getting a scholarship to the Royal College of Music - when I realised I wanted to compose for films/tv and video games.
I take great pride in my compositions, and work hard and fast. I am a versatile composer with a gigantic collection of music software to create unique original musical scores. My studio at home contains -
- imac 7 gb ram
- native instruments komplete 5
- east west composers collection
- zero g, outer limits
- morphestra
- superior drummer version 2
- logic studio- including logic and soundtrack pro

I am currently looking for some work in the industry, and can work around any schedule possible. I would happily compose for any genre - particularly interested in the thriller/horror genre, which some people have said I excel in.

Please visit my project site - Have a listen to an example of my music.

Many thanks,

Adam Brown, composer - www.adambrown.co.nr

The compositions are public domain i.e royalty free but any recording made will be copyrighted by the recording artists/studio etc. Therefore you cannot use, for Example, a work which has been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra with impunity from royalties.
