Hello, I am Matthew Weber. I am a Composer, Pianist and a Drummer and am looking for future projects.

First off, I should say, I do not require any payment except credit, and a copy of the DVD (if applicable).

I do mostly Orchestral music, but I am able to produce most styles of music if required, but I prefer to work on projects that call for an orchestra. If you listen to most of my more recent compositions, you might notice that I am skilled at writing catchy and emotional themes. Of course I can score a film that doesn't call for that, but for one that does, I'm your man. Many Indie Composers (from my knowledge) do not put much importance in strong themes for their film or the film's characters.

Another benefit, is that I have very ready access to a live trumpet player, who usually does not ask for a fee if I'm not getting paid. To preview this, listen to the last 2 minutes of the song "Redemption." It's always great to have live instruments, but this might be particularly beneficial in a war film.

You can visit my myspace page to stream or download my more recent (and some older) music. www.myspace.com/matthewweber

(You may notice that many of the pieces BEFORE "Redemption" (my most recent piece), have a bit less quality on the overall mix. I have acquired new education between that time period and now employ new techniques, that will make all of my future compositions similar in overall quality.)

Again, you can visit me here: www.myspace.com/matthewweber on the site there is also a list of the hardware and software I use.

You can contact me here, or at my myspace page. Again, I am currently not charging for scoring films, I do however charge if you want me to write music for your computer/video game project.

So take a listen here, or visit me on myspace, or post back here, I have this thread on auto-notify.

The tracks on your myspace were really impressive. I might have project for you. But I would like to hear more, first, if that’s ok. Do you have anything that just piano, because that’s sort of what I'm looking for?
If you’re interested feel free to email me.
Thanks
Kat

I have a radioplay in the works that could use a short and simple mysterious piece for the opening and ending. However, the thing is that I'm preparing this script (and a few others, all similar in tone) in anticipation of a assignment that I'll have in my first semester at NYU, which I don't start in until September. So chances are you won't be hearing a complete product for some while after that. That said, it should be a pretty quick project - all I need are two 20-30 second clips, both which use the same motif/riff/tune. Let me know if you're interested, and I can send you part of the script, as well as some musical pieces that fit the kind of thing I'm envisioning. Cheers.

Thank you both for your interest, I have sent both of you emails. Hopefully we can work from there.

Oh, and by the way, this thread is still open, I am still looking for future projects.

i may have something for you to do. your classical is really great. For many works i would need peaceful, calming swells of sound. much like what you already have
