Hello:
I am always on the lookout for good student films, as I usually score these for little to no payment. Keep in mind, I usually DO NOT work for free, but I really love scoring low-budget films that have a lot of promise.
My demos can be found here:

I specialize in realistic orchestral renderings for dramatic situations.

I'm pretty new around studentfilms.com because I haven't gotten around to making something for a while, but recently I made a short film called The War at Home. Problem is, I didn't really have any music except for a temp soundtrack that would have violated copyright laws all around. So I searched around this message board for composers.

Out of a pool of about 10 composers, I picked Daniel because the samples on his site are just so compelling-- listen to "Stealing Home" and you'll see how much effort is put into composing his music. The orchestrations are of such great quality that it sounds like he's in command of a full orchestra. So I asked him to score my short film and soon enough after sending my film to him I received a basis of a theme in an email-- and it was PERFECT. It captured the mood that I was trying to establish in the movie, and most of all, the score distinguishes itself-- it's not just background music, it's living within the film itself, and it identifies itself with my movie. And this is after hearing one track. The track I'm talking about is on his website, under music and "The War at Home".

When the score's finished and I sync it up to the movie I'll submit it here, and in the meantime I recommend Daniel as one of the most amiable, reliable, and talented composers around-- it shows how much effort he puts into a minute and a half of a basic theme-- he's always collaborative and eager to explore different directions with his music.
