Hi Everyone I am currently in the last few stages of Pre-production on my short film drama which is set in 1944 at a train station. It is based on Brief Encounter, where a young man arrives at the train station as he is going off to war, there he meets a young girl who he forms a spark with. Emma passes her address to him and he goes off where she tells him 'I'll Wait'. Years later we see James coming back to Emma. Unfortunately I was let down very last minute by my sound composer, so I'm back to square one with my sound. I would love any help anyone can give me. The sound that I'm sort of looking for is either a piece of music with a vintage style to it, something like Vera lynn's "we'll meet again' or a soundtrack made up completely made up of steam train noises. This sound track will be played briefly at the start of the film, on the DVD menu and over the credits. Unfortunately as it's a student film I don't have a big budget , but I will credit the person in completely, I'm also making a press pack and trying to publicise the film as much as I can so the sound will be featured heavily in that publicity. As a soundtrack is always apart of my films I would also consider putting any other work that person's way. The only main problem about this is that my deadline is Tuesday 19th November. I know i'm so sorry I'm asking miracles but I do believe there are some miracle workers out there. But I would be so delighted with any help anyone could give me.

Are you still needing help with scoring this film?

Thanks,

Sincerely,
