Hello Composers!
First off, let me just say that there is a lot of talent on this forum... Which is why I think I can find the right composer for this project here! The film is a futuristic World War II short, set in a world where the war didn't end in 1945. The mood is dark and emotional, and the style is somewhere between Spielberg, Lynch, and Del Toro, if that makes any sense! My website is www.metrocityfilms.com ...Click on the photos tab, then click the "New Untitled Film" tab. There you will find pre-renders and test shots. Principle photography starts in 2 weeks. The style of music should be moody, orchestral, dramatic, epic, and of course charming in it's own right. I'd like to keep the base of the film orchestral, but I do support the use of electronic elements for texture and so forth, and perhaps some operatic qualities. Danny Elfman, Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer, and John Williams would be people I would consider for this film if I had a real budget! But, I think this could be a great way for an undiscovered director and an undiscovered composer to get moving up the food chain together. You will make exactly what I make... Money = 0. Prestige and Exposure = TONS! I'm going to spam the Film Festival circuit with this film, in some very prestigious festivals. Please send me links to your work... I don't really care about your resume, I just want to hear what you're capable of.

Hello there. My name is Adam Brown and I am a young, enthusiastic and professional film composer, who has gained several commissions in the past few months for films. I have been working on several scores for independent film companies, as well as moving towards video game scoring as well. I love what I do, and want to grasp as many opportunities as possible. Great submissions so far... There's a lot of talent here! I may have found the composer for this project already, just have to work out some details... But, there's another project in the works soon, so I'm still looking! It'll be a steampunk adventure, just keep that in mind. Keep up the great work everyone!
