The yankees suck this year. I'm from new york and have been a yankee fan all my life. For the first time, I don't think I'll see them in the playoffs.

I'm an Orioles fan and ever since that Jeffrey kid stuck his big hands over the wall (1997) and ripped my heart out - my feelings for the NYY have been neutral at best! That was the beginning of a long draught for the O's.
That said, I still think the Yanks will challenge for the division, but I'm rooting for the O's! |

If they're in the series, either Yankees or (highly unlikely, but the) Mets I'll show some love. I was a Mets fan as a kid (what did I know?) Everyone around here loves the Yankees. I don't like them.
I think the Yankees have a major attitude problem, and they're not all that this year at all. They seem to be riding on the idea that their team is still great, when a few of those guys are far past their prime. They need to bring in some younger talent and kick some of their players to the street. The Mets need to do the same thing. |

I think the O's will take the division, and maybe, if they they wake up, the Yanks will grab a wildcard spot.

I went to the Sox game last night. It was a great feeling when the Sox were ahead 7-2 and I glanced over at the green monster and noticed that the Yankees were in last place.

HAHAHA. Yea it does kinda suck being a Yankee fan right now. But I'm not too disapointed since I've already seen three Yankee championships in my lifetime.

Ha. Being a cocky, selfish yankee fan, I thought it might be an appropropriate time to revive this thread. Afterall, the yankees did clinch the A.L. East (8 in a row) today after trailing Boston nearly the entire season.
You obviously can't see my facial expresion right now, but I have a big damn grin on my face, and all I want to say is "HA" to all the boston fans (JW especially) and yankee haters out there. OK, now for the anti-yankee responses... |
