ok so you've probably already been sucked into this crap but I thought it was funny! apparently Joe Rogan accused Carlos Mencia of stealing jokes and the confrontation is on youtube.

The strangest thing of all is Carlos Mencia isn't mexican (it's an issue because most of his jokes are race based and he calls himself a "beaner') in fact he's Half German and Honduron and his real name is Ned Holness or something like that.

Ancenstry doesn't matter....it's how you grow up and by the way he talks and acts i'd say he's hispanic....unless he's a really good actor.

I think that's the point, it's like when Vanilla Ice was saying how gangster he was and was eventually exposed. You can't just act like something to become it; thats simply being a phony.

But race isn't important here, in fact if he speaks for a group of people and they are happy having him represent their views then more power to him. Plus German jokes arn't that funny.

But the bigger issue is the joke stealing! Watch the video!

Yeah I saw that a few days ago. Carlos Mencia is horrible. Him and Dane Cook both steal jokes, and they both are not funny.

It's sad Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook and Larry the Cable Guy are the 3 most popular stand ups right now, and they're the least funny comics I have ever seen in my life.

Joe Rogan is a pretty bad comic too, but I guess he's better than Mencia...I guess.


I'll take David Cross, Patton Oswalt or Bill Hicks any day.

mencia is such a phony. i used to watch his show and loive his joked until i found out about all this information from a friend a few months back.

is it just me or have you guys noticed that his show hasn't been on comedy central lately... probably because all this has surfaced.
