Invisable Keying in Premiere Pro?

Hi, I have been experimenting with blue / green keying in Adobe Premiere Pro recently and I have noticed that my actors are becoming invisable along with the blue/green screen!

Am I doing something wrong or is it a case of playing with it to get the balance right? I havent started filming actual footage yet, I am just ... experimenting so I know I can do the shots I wanna do?

Thanks everyone!

If your actors have any kind of blue or green on them, then that would do it. Also, blue/green spill. You need to properly light the shot where there isnt any shadows and no spill on them.

like flimmakerfromwv said, make sure your actors wear clothes with contrasting colors of blue/green (depending on which one you're using) and make sure you back light your characters to avoid less chroma spillage. mmmm...chroma spillage.

Thanks guys - wen u say the green screen needs to be well lit, do u mean from the back (will be using a green sheet) or from the front? Also the problam I am having is more "transparant" than invisable.
