| there is none that I know of... your best bet is to simply watch the movie and try to understand the shot choices. Think about timing. count the beats between the shots. and also why they made a cut then and why they chose that particular shot (WS as opposed to MS, etc etc) Now in terms of editing books, I would rather suggest you getting the official editing book for the software you're using (Final Cut book by Apple or Avid book by Avid, etc etc). There you'll learn the technical aspects of the software and also some theoretical aspects of it. I hope that helps. |
