We are first year students at Manchester Metropolitan studying Contemporary Film and Video. We are currently looking for a male actor to star in our drama project which will be 3 – 5 minutes long. We unfortunately cannot pay the actor as we are on a low budget, however, we see this as an opportunity for you to gain relevant experience and help with your career also. In our film we aim to explore the possible effects of war on a human mind and how this can be damaging when introduced into society. There is no dialogue, 2 main locations are used and it will be filmed in Manchester. There are two characters; we are currently looking for the mature male actor:

Attributes:

· Male

· Late twenties to mid thirties

· Well built

· Playing retired solider

· Mentally affected by war, possibly discharged for this reason

· Really patriotic

· Able to act with conviction without dialogue

· Available between 12th May – 2nd June. Flexible within this time frame.
