My name is Josh Young, I'm 15, and live in Auckland, New Zealand. I enjoy all aspects of film, and have acted in professional short films - as well as starting to direct my own, through my production company. New Zealand! I've always thought NZ must be the neatest place on earth... is it? Got any cool LOTR stories? Didn't nearly everyone in the country witness some tiny part of the goings on?

Well, the city based LOTR work was in Wellington, and I'm in Auckland - so I wasn't hearing things on a daily basis, however I had some friends who acted on the set's as extras. I think it was a great trilogy, and Peter Jackson is definately one of my idols - I know people working on the King Kong set aswel, so we do hear about it - not personally involved though. Hopefully one day I'll get the chance to work with him though - or follow in his footsteps!

I don't set out to make "art" I just try to make something with a beginning, middle, end, and some characters...the art seems to come during the process.
