Hello there, I've been hanging around but not properly introducing myself. I'm a Composer based in Brooklyn, NY. I've been creating music for picture for over 15 years now. Advertising, film, television, theater, web, etc. I use the latest tools such as the Vienna Symphonic Library (amazingly real orchestral samples) as well as EastWestQuantumLeap Symphonic packages. If you don't know, these are the tools used by Hollywood film and television composers. Virtually all television is now virtual orchestras (except the Simpsons) due to major budget/time constraints.
I recently finished an orchestral(virtual) score for an animated student thesis film for the upcoming SVA Dusties Film Festival on May 2 here in New York. The film is called Coqui by Nelson Diaz. If you're in the area, check it out at Loews eWalk cinemas on May 2 between 7 and 11pm is the whole animated fest. I'll post excerpts on my site soon.
I'm looking to collaborate on new great work. You can learn more about me and check out my reel and work at http://300monks.com/store/custom.php
Have a great day and make great film!

wow! welcome! I always admire those who write music, it's alot harder than just looking at it on the screen. But then again each has its difficulty in alot of places.
