| How is the Film Directing Program at CalArts?

I'm thinking of applying at the California Institute of the Arts for the Film Directing Program, but I've heard that CalArts is more renowned for its animation program than its film program. So, obviously this implies that the film program isn't good. What have you guys heard? And if any of you are currently enrolled in their program or know somebody that is, could you tell me how the program is?

http://filmvideo.calarts.edu/programs/film-directing There is no one-size-fits-all film school, motion pictures are more complicated than that. Look for the school that will turn your existing weaknesses in film-making into strengths. |
