I've applied for MA Directing Fiction Course at NFTS (UK) and still havenn't heard back for interview. Has anyone attend for interview before, do you have any advice just in case they will invite me?

Hey I've applied for the same course and haven't heard back yet either. From what I hear it's not uncommon to be waiting until mid June before anything happens. They do usually reply to you one way or another with their decision though. Best of luck to you mate!

I have just received an invitation to the interview on 11th of July and a short visual test. I really have no idea what to expect especialy when it comes to test. Any idea?

Good luck in the interview Mozgen! On the open day I attended one of the DF students said their visual test consisted of being shown photographs and then being asked to interpret a story/meaning. Not sure if this is standard, but might give you some idea.

They sent me an email invitation but I know they call few people as well. Thank you for the advice on visual test. I'll post how it went.

They asked pretty much questions from the questionnaire as I expected. There were number of questions about my movie and how i came out with certain ideas, I guess this is a part is different for individuals. They did not tell me what criteria of an evaluation they have. It looked like they genuinely liked it. Test was Peteato mentioned above. I really can't give you any advice.

Also wondering what you put for the "why do you want to apply" and the "describe your role on a film set" questions - I feel like they're trick questions????
