I'm not sure if I was the only one in this boat last night, but I thought I would share and hopefully this info will help somebody.

So I was applying to FSU and I tried to finish my online application yesterday evening (Dec 1). When I tried to submit it, it said the deadline had passed. I had a total freak out because it says several times on the website, in bold, that no late applications would be accepted.

So I created a pdf of my app and emailed it to them just before midnight, I didn't know what else to do. This resulted in quite the night of uneasy rest.

I called at 8am this morning, preparing to beg and plead my case. They said that the online submission had closed at 12:01am on Dec 1, but it was not supposed to. They said there were several people in the same situation. Apparently this is only their second year working with online applications, so they said there are still a few bugs.

They said the online app should be available later today and tomorrow for sure. They are extending the deadline to December 7th at midnight. I still believe that if you had intended to send supplemental visual samples, they still needed to be received on the 1st(the visual submission is optional).

So fret not if you were in the same position as I was. I am a little torn about posting this because I probably just lowered my chances of being accepted by giving you all the information to apply, haha, but I would want someone to tell me if I was in the same situation.

Yeah, I had this problem also. They said they would contact me when they fixed the problem, but I haven't heard anything back yet.

I still haven't been contacted either, but they told me on the phone that the afternoon on the 3rd would be the most likely time the issue would be resolved.

I am not stressing about it too much, I mean, the application is "done" and we still have a couple days. Sweet relief...

The online application is now accessible. I just submitted my app a few minutes ago!

I hope everyone else who wanted to apply to FSU got their app in. Remember, you have until Sunday to get it in!
