Welcome to Studentfilms.com, the online film discussion forum for filmmakers and students who are applying to film school, attending film school, need advice on making films, or just want to share their films with the world.
Hi Guys, Im new to this forum ,but have been watching closely the discussions. Here is my dilemma
I am a senior software engineer in an MNC,but I have been making short films for quite some time and have won few local awards too.Now I want to switch my career and join a film school to learn (graduate)cinematography. But I think the following things against me.
1) I am 25 years old 2) I am an undergarduate in Information Technology.
So do you guys think my age and my profession could be a reason for the schools to reject my application?
Few of the schools that I have short listed are: 1)LFS 2)USC 3)La Fémis 4)Filmakademie Baden Thanks in advance for any replies!!
