My name is Abu Nurah. I'm a political rapper based in Massachusetts.

A short bio: Abu Nurah is an emcee with something to say, in the tradition of greats like Chuck D and KRS ONE. He grew up in Los Angeles' notorious Pico-Union neighborhood and went on to graduate Cum Laude from Harvard. Abu Nurah's music has been featured on Democracy Now's War & Peace Report. His debut album, a mixtape titled 'Don't Be a Citizen', promotes a revolution of thought, urging listeners to stop thinking like ‘citizens’ who don’t question what they’re told by their leaders.


I'm looking to partner with an aspiring director to film a video for a single off my upcoming album ('Say it Loud!'). I make all my music available for free download. While I can't promise compensation beyond paying for equipment expenses, you will get a lot of exposure.
