In coming up with ideas to fund my next couple movies, I came up with the idea of the "Million Dollar Video". What I'm doing is selling frames of video in a sort of ultra commercial. Then the commercial will be posted all over the internet. Hoping the video will go viral and catch on.
Sounds like an odd idea, but there was a guy not too long ago selling Pixels on his website at a dollar each, and made a million dollars.
Well, I'll try and do my best with the editing to keep it watchable without looking like an acide freak out. I'm selling the frames in 15 second blocks, which is about half second. Which should be enough for the human eye to at least register the image. And you could order as many consecutive blocks of frames as you like
But the real tie that binds is the fact that it's the 'million dollar video' which is what I hope people will be looking for. And of course I'll have a links page for all the contributors. If I don't get much in the way of audio, I'll probably have something like Ode to Joy playing in the background to give it more cohesion.
I based the idea off of this guy, who sold a million Pixels of ad space, so I guess picture this page in video form: http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/
So the idea isn't without president.
