Seaking composer for a high school student film!

Hi!
My name is Eugene and I am a G11 student filmmaker. I'm currently making a film for my IB film course at school, and I'm in an urgent need for a composer!

The film is short (around 3-4 minutes) and my curriculum forbids students to use any music that was not specifically composed for their film. Unfortunately, I do not have any musical instruments that I can proficiently play, nor do I know any musicians. This is why I decided to reach out for potential composers in this forum.

The general theme of my current film is childhood innocence and friendship. The music that I'm seeking is likely to include an acoustic guitar or piano with a light and jovial tone. This is a no-budget film, so I can't promise a high payment or any sort of payment in that matter. So, I am likely seeking a composer who is trying to build experience or a portfolio, with little or no regard to payments.

I just watched your German Expressionism film on the forum. Very interesting! Can't say I knew anything about German expressionism before seeing you're post, but it's certainly got me intrigued in the genre. I might have further look into it.

I also couldn't help noticing that you were in need of a composer for your IB film project. A light and jovial theme about childhood friendship certainly sounds like a charming film! I'm a Grade 8 pianist so I would be well suited to a piano soundtrack to your film that can still make it sound varied and interesting. I would expect no payment, just recognition in the credits.

I'm sorry to not have informed you earlier that the film discussed in this post has already been completed.
