To begin, I am a self-taught composer from East Texas. Music has been my whole life for as long as I can remember. I began to take an interest in possibly pursuing a future in music when I was 8 years old and took acoustic guitar lessons. My musical career began to take flight shortly after when I started composing pieces for the guitar in 5th grade. I then took many music classes in high school and broadened my knowledge of music and music theory. I am proficient in most basic brass instruments (i.e. trumpet, trombone, euphonium, french horn, tuba, etc.), but over the years have learned to play many other instruments such as; piano, violin, cello, contrabass, clarinet, flute, most forms of percussion, and many more. Because I started out on guitar, I took a special interest in stringed instruments and have been able to become very familiar with their styles and textures. I am currently working on many pieces of music to sample and get out into the public, some of which are in the "sample pieces" tab of this website. Whether you are just listening to my music or are possibly looking to hire me to compose for you, I hope you enjoy my works.

    Best regards,

    Daniel Trchalek
