Hallo friends..
Bet you al thought I was dead.. not so not so.. not to say there werent those who have tried to kill me over the past couple years but I live and percivere.
Here is the short but sweet update.. Back in South Florida, working at the studio in Miami I uised to and we have som e big things going on. I was made head editor on our in house feature film "Tumbe" and we are almost completed. We will be ready for and out at AFM in Nov.
Now most of this feature was shot on the DVX100 with the PS technik adapter and 35mm primes, but since the initial production we now own an HVX with PS and new primes and since we had a few additional cene sto shoot we used that rig. Its nice because the few additional scenes were sprinkled throughtout the film and almost all were well served by some slomo.. which now we have.
Regardless we shot the ending end of last week.. very short scene and it does not necessarilly make sense unless you have seen the rest of the film and what this character has been through, but it sure is pretty. This clip is the HVX with the PS and a dollie. No CC has been done to this yet and we did not even need the bounce boards.. we could not have asked for a better South Florida day to shoot.
So below are a few raw stills and then below that watch the clip. This is the soundtrack music but sound design has not yet been added nor has the other side of the phone conversation. Otherwise enjoy and there should be several trailers to see up soon.
