got Macromedia Director 8 (resale: $1200 a few years ago, now at version MX2004) for about 250. Never licsensed, still in shrinkwrap.

for those who don't know, it's an OOP programming language with a WYSIWYG GUI. i'm using it to program a game i've been working on for FIVE years.

Canon Canosound 514xls Super 8 camera - this camere goes for @100$ on ebay. I found one where the seller said it was broken and because of which I bought it for a mere ten dollars. I get it in the mail, IT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE AND IN MINT CONDITION. And the footage looks great.
