NYTVF

New Member
Make the next great television comedy, short-form series, drama, or unscripted format. Win guaranteed TV development opportunities at the premier festival for independent creators!

The Independent Pilot Competition (IPC) is the NYTVF’s flagship, annual initiative, accepting independently-produced, original television pilots and series, short films, and short-form web series from around the globe. If your project is episodic in nature and is meant to be consumed in multiple chapters over time, then it's TV.

IPC submissions should be between 4 and 60 minutes in length, and all genres are welcome (Comedy, Animation, Unscripted/Doc, Drama, Family, etc). Official Selections in the IPC have the exclusive opportunity to screen in competition at the annual New York Television Festival, held in NYC. IPC Official Selections are also eligible for the competition's category and individual achievement awards as well as guaranteed development opportunities from Festival Development Partners. See 2016 Festival Development Partners HERE.

In 2015 alone, the Festival facilitated 400+ meetings between creators and Festival Partners and awarded 20+ development opportunities. With over 115,000 attendees over the festival’s 12 years, the NYTVF has become the premier destination for indie creators. 2016 Official Artists will join a community of thousands of successful NYTVF alumni. Don't miss your chance to get into network and digital development and participate as an Official Artist at the 12th Annual NYTVF in October.
