I think there are some people that still come around. There are two forums that are really closely named, I'm not sure if they are tied together or not, so sometimes i post in both

Yes this old forum isn't too active anymore sadly but I'd love to get it more active.

However my other site filmschool.org is EXTREMELY active and vibrant. You can advertise your services there too if you wish.

Hi Chris!

Do you think the other is more geared to active students in a college setting or is it open to all say "students" of film making?

Like for me, I will be taking a class here in the winter, but for now I'm on udemy learning more about my editing software, Davinici Resolve....I'm out filming and editing and playing with things. I was looking for an area that people can share ideas, get feedback on their work (like what I put together looks ok to me, but feedback from people also doing the same thing is huge), maybe find people to collaborate with...which is all this forum I thought. It is just not as active unfortunately

So what do you think, based on what I said should I be more active in the other forum?

Filmschool.org is geared towards people applying to film school or in film school but we have forums over there on general filmmaking as well which could be helpful to you.

What you described was what studentfilms.com was in the past for sure but doesn't have as much activity as it used to.
