re: DINER location in New York (Help!)

As a consequence of hurricane Sandy (or so they say) TWO (!) restaurants that originally agreed to let me shoot on their premises had a change or heart.

Meanwhile I have crew and cast (however small) lined up for a shoot this weekend. Desperately seeking assistance in finding a diner/restaurant/coffee shop/breakfast place to shoot a scene - a dialogue between two actors over a meal.

And assistance and or advice will be highly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi! You can try looking for locations on online filming locations sites like http://lightsonlocation.com. This site has many filming locations listed in their directory so wherever you are, you will get the bigger chance that you can look for available locations around the area. I did tried their site when I was a film student and it's really helpful.
