Where to promote your short films

I just released my short film 'After The Rain' a couple of days ago. Although we were very happy with the amount of views we got only through social media (over 300 in 2 days), we are ready to take it to the next level. But where do we start? where do we go? Ultimately everyone wants to get featured on Vimeo or Short of The Week, it's always worth a shot, but very difficult to get featured. I'm opening this discussion to get people to shout out sites and blogs that talk about and feature short films, anything that can help an aspiring filmmaker!

Hi In response to your where to post your short films. There are many people who own online tv stations and need programming to fill their channels viewing capacity.
They have many people willing to advertise on their channel but not enough programming.You see most channels have to avoid copyright infringement laws for playing your short films. IF however permission of the films owner is given. . Then they can show and promote your films on their channel.
Such is the case here. We are willing to promote short films and tv programming for free on our channel connect tv with your permission of course .

When I posted this I promised I would write a blog on where to submit your short films online.. Unfortunately I did not get that many responses and my search for online short film sites stopped at 2 or 3. But instead of a blog, something better has come out of this.

Being a web designer, I decided to create my own short film website! I promise that in a few months it will become just as big as the main Short Film websites out there. But to do so I need to get the word around, even before the site is done.

We are currently still in the development phase of the website, but it's coming together really quickly! In a couple of weeks we will start watching submitted short films to feature for our big launch!
