This student short film "Still" is really powerful, especially as a USC portfolio piece. The story of a young photographer drowning in her monotonous routine and work genuinely resonated with me — I once shot my own first short about a person losing themselves in repetitive days. After filming, I struggled for a long time with editing: adjusting pacing, cleaning transitions, adding stop-motion elements to the intro, and doing color correction to convey loneliness.
