I’ve always wanted to experiment with making short films, and my senior year of high school I decided not to wait anymore. My junior year I was lucky to join a friend group of diverse, high-achieving, and funny people who have encouraged me to push myself to work hard and try new things. The first film I made at the beginning of my senior year featured my friend Anar, documenting his character as he moved through his daily life, experiencing the negative effect littering has had on his environment. I’m excited to feature my other friends in upcoming projects, get more creative with production, and create as many quality short films as I can!

Pros: Poignant subject matter, clever interpretation of social issues told through character POV, nice sound design & editing in places
Cons: Bumps in sound or story that were a little distracting, titles at the end seem generic, and a little hard to read.
A once carefree childhood is fondly remembered by a young man who deals with the daily challenges of the world. He struggles with socioenvironmental factors that eventually cause him to become an agent of change to overcome his emotional and mental obstacles. Visually and musically interesting but occasionally stalling, the end titles could be highlighted more in the end, where the message would have landed a bit more solidly.

Hi everybody! For some reason this is classified as a Graduate Student Film, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it. For context, I made this when I was 17 during my senior year of high school

Update: I figured out where I went awry and I don't think there are any solutions to this :(
