I am an artist and composer based in Toronto, Canada/Perth, Australia releasing music under two distinct projects: Warburton, which focuses on emotionally driven indie music, and Tecumseth, which explores ambient and instrumental compositions with a cinematic touch. I currently have time to take on new projects and would love to see how I can assist your project!
I work both solo and with a small team to provide quality , exclusive custom music from a professional private studio in Toronto. We can work within many budgets to help your project.

Have a listen to some recent compositions here

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you want to chat about your project!

how did the projects with custom music turn out? I'm thinking about working with a composer for my next short and wondering how much creative input you usually give them. Do you send a rough cut first or just a mood board and references? Would love to hear how others approach this.

Hey! you can check out my website here for some music that I have created for projects.

I find every filmmaker tackles it differently, but generally a filmmaker will ask for a demo scene ( if they are considering multiple composers ). If they know they want 1 specific composer usually a deal will be made. It's good/important to discuss where music should be and what the tone of each scene is. I will generally score the scene and send it to the filmmaker to get their feedback etc, then finalize it.

If you haven't made the film yet but want to think about a composer already you can contact one and say " Hey , I've got this script that ill be making into a film, here it is, here's the story, theres the mood and tone for the film, here is some of my previous films etc, do you want to score it when its ready?

Something like that. Just be friendly and communicate well from both parties is the way to go.
If you need a composer feel free to email me at theparkdalesoundcompany@gmail.com or dm me on instagram at

I’ve been working on sound for short films, and learning more about music structure really helped me communicate better with composers. I took some beginner music lessons at https://artmaster.com and even picked up a bit of composing myself. Being able to share rough mockups or adjust timing with temp tracks made things smoother with collaborators.
