First Short Film

Hey! I've done some filming before, just kinda for fun and not really anything with a story, but now I have! I would like to hear what everyone thinks. I know the sound isn't great in parts, but you work with what you've got. Didn't have a good mic on hand...had to do some voiceover work. What a great location! Is that a house you had access to or did you just go in and do it before anyone noticed? lol

How long did this take to shoot?

Actually that was two separate houses. They belonged to our neighbors, but they didn't mind us using them since they were going to be torn down. It took me two days to film everything. One day for most of it with both of my brothers, and one for the scenes alone in that basement and leaving the house after the other brother died. I finished just in time too. Construction started the next day, and the houses were torn down. I did use an extra day to do voiceovers and sound editing though. I had a good camera, but I don't have much sound equipment. Thank you for your compliment. I wish I had more time to film some other stories I've done too.
