Every year, the Supanova Expo gives Media Passes to those who are video makers or professional photographers. I was one of the lucky ones to get one!
My plan was to do a coverage video on what Supanova Expo is all about, but I put a small twist in it... If you've ever watch any Pop Culture Coverage video such as Comic-Con, PAX, Cosplay Conventions, etc. The idea of a host interviewing people and making music videos for those who dress up and posing in front of video camera with your sweeping camera shots has been OVERDONE TO DEATH.
Inspired by the Youtuber, GakAttack, this is my second short film (first one being "Finding Elizabeth" which you can find on a different channel called Monkey8Panda) covering the Supanova Convention.
The twist is, I turn the coverage of this convention into a short film and create a very simple and basic narrative, combined with choreographed fight montages, the goal of the video was provide an upbeat and intense short film.
I hope you guys enjoyed what I did. Feedback is welcome! I know my camera work is a bit shonky, but still working on it. I couldn't do it with the help of these following people, and you can find their facebook page by searching it in the search bar.
