I was hanging out with a few of my friends when this weird yet amazing idea leapt into my mind. Now, please don't laugh and yes I realize that it would be complicated to do. anyhow, the idea was what if someone (you, me, etc...) was able to write the dialogue of the script in nothing but music lyrics. Just as they are, no adding or subtracting. I believe it could be done. What about you?

I really didn't think of it like that. I was really just thinking what would it be like to write a short with nothing but song lyrics (song that are already made). I was just wondering if anyone had had that same idea before? Sorry,if I didn't make myself clear.

It could be done. I have a friend who made a feature. One of his characters was a bit crazy, and had no grasp on what it meant to be "him" so literally everything he said was a line from a movie. It was pretty funny. The guy had complete conversations with other characters and did nothing but famous movie quotes. I say go for it! That is just the sort of thing that can set you apart in this industry. Get writting. Create a world where all people have is music as their example of how people communicate. Could be very cool.

It sounds hard to do, but it could definitely be accomplished. It reminds me of that game they play on Who's Line is it Anway? Two people have to have a conversation using only famous song titles. Good luck!

On the British (and superior) episodes of Whos Line Is It Anyway, they have entire conversations in nothing but SONG TITLES.

So yes, I'm sure it could be done.

I havn't seen the other version...but it probably is just as retarded and pointless as the US.
