Kill Bill volume 1

ok...so she escapes in bucks wagon, goes to japan, and comes back for the second victim in bucks wagon? is that a continuity problem or did she like the wagon enough to keep it somewhere until she got back from japan?

if youre looking for a witty signature, youre looking in the wrong place.

the first victim she drove a yellow motor cycle. victim (i suck with names) then she went back to where ever and kill the black Biotch.

it happened and that order but we saw it backwards... come on people this is simple Qt logic!

P.S where the hell did her metal plate go?

Is it really hard to assume that she left the truck in the airport parking (i know i can leave my car in the airport, but it will cost alot when i come out) then came back and drove to vernita green's house?

The only thing about that is where did she get the money for the trips, unless of course she had it hidden from her previous jobs (i'm sure she did) so then it makes sense. and hey, the pussy wagon car isn't that bad, it can handle some distance, although it looks ridiculous.

"Me? I'm dishonest. And you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones, you want to be afraid of."

Well... I might be going TO FAR here... but... When someone is murdered in a hospital... and their car is missing from the parking lot... I'd think it would be safe to day that whoever is driving the car doesn't have much time to dump it and find a new ride... forget about taking a trip to Japan and coming back to it right in the airport parking lot where you left it...

I mean... There are plenty of cases where you can say "where were the police" and I HATE doing that.. I'm not one of those people... but I don't know.... there must be some pretty retarded and/or Lazy cops in the world Kill Bill takes place in.

In the script Uma goes to a safetey deposit place and she has some stuff in here like money....this very well could be in part II, either way it doesn't matter.

Tarantino has said this is not like his other films (whereas they take place in a "real" type world) Kill Bill is the type of movie the characters in Pulp Fiction watch....thus Kill Bill is a "movie". Maybe this is confusing, I don't care what you think. You suck.

ANYWAYS....I gotta be honest....the first time I watched Kill Bill I was lost and felt retarded maybe cause I was so goddamn excited) but after seeing it more times (particularly the 3rd time) I fell in love with it. (I've seen it 4 1/2 times already) But this is definetely an excellent movie, don't believe me? Watch the end 40 minutes of House of the Dead (which me and my friend snuck into after our 4th showing of Kill Bill- then when House of the Dead is Over go sneak into the last 40 minutes of Kill Bill.....It's totally sweet and thats all that matters)

House of the Dead was one of the worst films I have ever seen by the way...TERRIBLE. I can't even describe how bad it is.

I hope the DVD has the House of Blue Leaves showdown in color though....only one part in that battle I liked in black and white....and thats when the "old fashinoed" samurai battle theme comes into soundtrack as Johnny Mo (I think) and Uma battle on the banister (this is right before she swings down on a bamboo tree, to fight some mofos on the 1st floor, then swings the bamboo into Johnny's face) To me that scene with the old funky Samurai music looked AWESOME....but the rest shouldn've been in color.

But I would suggest seeing it more times, I bet you'll appreciate it even more.

oh and BTW, when viewing this many times I observed the audience and most laughed the whole way through and enjoyed it...no one felt the over the top violence offensive- and why should they? It looks ridiculeous but cool-

But everyone loved it no one was going, "what the hell is this?!"

if you remember, buck tells the truck driver not to leave any marks on her becuase the nurse would come in tomorrow. so if 1+1=2 then it would be safe to assume that buck and the truck driver wouldn't be discovered till that nurse comes in perhaps 13+whatever hours later. The bride could easily stash the truck somewhere in el paso and get some cash and be on her way to okinawa in no time.

I think the real problem is that kids walk into kill bill thinking they're gonna see pulp fiction 2 or whatever

FORGET THE 13 hours........SHE SPENT A MONTH IN JAPAN WHILE THE JAPANESE DUDE MADE THE SWORD.

I don't want to come across as the type of person that nitpicks.... but.... it doesn't work out and its NOT realistic. Admit it.

Ok, what are you trying to prove Drew?

She was in Japan for a month? So....?

Ever think maybe The Bride could put the truck in a self storage parking garage or something? Or just park it somewhere?

The movie ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE REALISTIC. Most action movies are retarded cause they are insanely none realistic, but then some TOO realistic happens...Tarantino knows this so makes basically the whole movie UNREALISTIC.

Did you notice that everyone in the movie is walking around wit Samurai swords? When Uma is on her plane ride to Tokyo you can see several other passengers with Samurai Swords on their sides.

Did you happen to notice thehose like spray coming from Boss Tanaka's neck when his head is sliced off? The movie is VERY unrealistic, but thats what makes it so awesome. Tarantino doesn
't want you to take a lot of it seriously. The only serious moments are around the time The BRide is gonna kill somebody, cause she's pissed and wants REvenge. Thats why the parts before she kills on of the people on her Death List its takes awile....these are the serious moments.

c'mon guys, you tell us that KILL BILL is NOT Realistic? HOW can you tell us something like that. You Obviously forgot that THE BRIDE was a member of the DEADLY VIPER ASSASINATION SQUAD. Therefore, we should not worry what about the car. I am sure that THE BRIDE was cool enough to let it dissapeare. Cops? C'mon, It's THE BRIDE, she can handle cops!

Kill Bill is entirely realistic! Like Lord of the rings! Or THE MATRIX! Or every other film. JAMES BOND!!! and FINDING NEMO

Kill Bill ets better the more you watch it.

I saw it Friday with my dad and my 3 friends (my dad paid) Then I was in Santa Cruz over the weekend and paid to get in, saw it once then when it was over andother showing was about to start......so I saw it again...then Sunday I paid to get in again....after it was over I didn't feel like, "jumping" back in....so I caught the last 40 minutes or so of House of the Dead (One of the worst films ever made) then when it was over (thank GOD) I quickly ran over to Kill Bill which was already half way through.

So It only cost me about $10....(Tickets in Santa Cruz are CHEAP AS HELL compared to Sacramento.....the tickets were only like $5....

So pretty good deal for such a good movie.

Now I get to see it again with MY Grandma....KICK ASS.

So......whats your guy's favorite scenes?

I personaly love the opening shots. Beautifull.
Also the long shot following the characters around in the House of Blue Leaves (ala Goodfellas) was EXTREMELY WELL DONE AND TOTALLY SWEET LOOKING....

But my favorite part is when The Bride comes out of the bathroom with Sophie Fatale....sword out...(I'm surprised some of you ninnies have been skeptical on where Uma left the pussy wagon, but never questioned where the hell and how the hell Uma has a samruai sword at House of BLue Leaves.....considering she doesn't have it at the bar) but back to my fav scene...The Bride slicing off Sophie's arm and blood going everywhere and Uma's emotionless bad ass expression...and the Western song, "Death Rides a Horse" Oh man that was an awesome scene.

you just cant stop talkin about it can yah?

i like the scene with sonny chiba best, thought it was very funny. also thought the drive through the streets at night with all the neon lights reflecting on everything was very stunning. best fight was definitely the shodown with lucy lui. loved the white snow, blue sky, and gently falling snowflakes.

Here's a question....
