New website

Very, very cool!

I like the slick, clean feeling, and the fact that you managed to fit the whole site on a single page without giving an crowded 'information overload' sort of feeling.

A few nit-picky details that I noticed:

The thumbnails are being resized slightly in the browser, leading to jaggies.

The neat reflection under your photo seems like it should also be under the other large photos. I didn't look at your source, but it might be possible to make the reflection as a separate image, and put in the table cell backgrounds under the text.

I'd avoid using Flickr if it's possible. It's really slow, and going to a 3rd party site to display images seems kind of amateur, and ruins the mood and style. Either hand coded pop-up windows for each image, or some kind of PHP/dynamic gallery would be really helpful.

Wow, very cool site man. I love that sleek look it has, very professional looking. I'm also glad to see Four Weeks in Tanzania was up there. I have been waiting to watch that for quite some time, and I must say it passed my expectations in everyway. Keep up the good work.

awesome site! i agree though with titanium that linking the pictures to an outside site is kinda unprofessional, but the pictures were still awesome!

Thanks. Make sure you write a review when the film gets posted on this site later this month.

Thanks for your comments everyone. The reason why I use Flickr for the images is because it's the easiest way for me to add or delete photos from the portfolio (it automatically updates what you see on the site when I update the set on Flickr). It also gives people the option to leave a review and to also look at some of my other photos that are not part of the portfolio. Flickr is the easiest system for me to add images while I'm out of the country. Sorry if it seems unprofessional, but there is some logic behind it.
