Uh...I'm not really sure where I was going with that now.

I guess I'm just thinking that it needs some context...I don't get the message of it. If the old man was looking back on what might have been, maybe. Or he sabotaged the relationship but blamed her, and in his old age he's doing it again with those in currently in his life, because he's pining over something in the past. He never appreciates what he has. I don't know, I may be way off base.

the main msg of this movie is..not all relationships you can get over..and the lies that occur for unnecesary reason can damage a person's life
