Does a wide angle lense effect the depth of feild at all???????

sensor size(1/2, 1/2, full frame) as well as film size(16mm, 35mm, 65mm) most definitely effects depth of field.
the larger the film frame or sensor the shallower the depth of field. 35mm has half the depth of field 16mm has.
