Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 V.S. Final cut express

One isn't better than another, it's what you have to do with it.

This is why most editors learn all the different systems, and change them accordingly to each project they're doing.

Final Cut PRO is better than Premiere Pro if you ask me

However - I'd be hard put to compare Final Cut EXPRESS to Premiere Pro... I really couldn't say.

I cant believe no one has pointed out to this kid yet that they are on different platforms.

So unless you are planning on buying a new computer as well, you can only use premiere pro on pc, and you can only use final cut on a mac...so that should seriously affect your decision me thinks. what platform are you on?

TD, compare express to premiere elements...they are more on the same plane. And in my opinion, even as a premiere user, FCP express and Pro are both far better than premiere pro and elements...no question. I've used both to a great extent, and Premiere Pro, while a great leap forward, is still lacking. The only reason i use premiere is because i have to use a pc.

Long story short, if you can buy a new comp, go FCP with a mac. If you are stuck with a pc, go with premiere pro or elements.

hahaha...

and i'll second the post you made a while back that he strangely resembles smiles...but he says he isnt...even though the questions seem to overlap...curious...

To me it seems like a little too much to be just a coincidence... so what would be a possible motive for this double-membership?
